NULLPOINT
Input hardware · São José dos Campos, Brazil

Nothing on the mouse that does not need to be there.

Nullpoint is a small hardware studio. We make a short line of mice, keyboards and mousepads and revise them slowly. There is no seasonal range, no lighting engine, and no configurator with four hundred options — just a handful of things we can explain the reasoning behind.

The hardware

Seven products. Select one for the full specification — weight is measured on our own scales with the cable fitted, not taken from the supplier sheet.

Sensitivity converter

Work out the distance your hand travels for a full turn, and carry the same physical sensitivity from one game to another. Runs entirely in the browser.

How we build

01

Weight is a budget, not a headline

Shaving grams past a point costs stiffness, and a shell that flexes under a firm grip is worse than one that weighs a few grams more. We publish the measured weight including cable and state where the trade-off was made.

02

Sensor settings you can see

Lift-off distance, polling rate and smoothing are exposed rather than tuned behind the scenes. Defaults are conservative on purpose; the interesting values are not always the ones that demo well.

03

Switches rated, then re-rated

Every switch batch is sampled and actuation force measured before it goes into a build. Batches that drift outside tolerance go back, which is occasionally why a product is out of out of stock for a month.

Where to buy

We do not run a web shop. Everything is sold from our own three shops, where you can put your hand on a mouse before deciding — which is the only sensible way to buy one — and where a warranty claim is handled over the counter rather than by courier.

Stock varies between shops; call ahead if you are travelling for a specific product. For wholesale and trade enquiries, write to [email protected].

Revisions

What actually changed, and why. A revision only happens when something was wrong or measurably better — not on a schedule.

NP-1 · rev C

Softer main switch

The rev B switch was crisp and, after a few months of testing, tiring over long sessions. Rev C drops the actuation force slightly and adds a shallower pre-travel. Anyone who preferred rev B can still buy the switch separately at the shops.

NP-2 · rev B

Thumb rest reprofiled

The original ledge was too far forward for hands under about 18 cm, which we only found after the first production run. The current shell moves it back 4 mm and thins the leading edge. Weight is unchanged.

Board 65 · rev B

Second damping layer

Added a layer under the plate after the first batch sounded hollower than the prototypes. The cause was a supplier changing foam density without telling us, which is the reason we now sample every batch.

Revisions are marked on the box and on the underside of the product. Where a change affects fit or feel we say so here rather than quietly shipping it.

Questions

Can I order directly from this site?

No. There is no cart, no checkout and no payment of any kind on this site — it is a specification reference. Everything is sold over the counter at the three shops listed above, where the sale, the receipt and any later claim all sit in one place.

Why is the range so small?

Because a seven-product line can be revised properly. Each product gets a full teardown and a revision cycle rather than a colourway refresh, and anything we cannot justify the existence of gets dropped rather than kept for the sake of a fuller catalogue.

Do you send units to reviewers?

We send samples on request and place no conditions on what is said about them. We do not pay for coverage, do not run affiliate programmes, and do not ask to see a review before it goes out. If you see a Nullpoint product recommended with a tracking link, it is not ours.

Is the weight figure the real one?

Yes, and it includes the cable. Published weights across this industry are frequently measured without one, which is worth about six to eight grams on a paracord and rather more on a rubber cable. Ours are weighed on the bench and rounded up.

What is the warranty, and how do I claim?

Three years from purchase on every product, covering switches, sensor and shell. Bring the unit and the receipt to any of the three shops, not only the one you bought it from. A unit that fails inside the term is swapped over the counter where we have stock.

Will the sensitivity converter work for my game?

Only for the titles in the list, which share documented, stable turn ratios. Games that change their sensitivity handling between patches are deliberately left out — a converter that is quietly wrong is worse than no converter.

About

The studio

Nullpoint is a small independent hardware studio in São José dos Campos, São Paulo. Design and testing happen there; manufacturing is contracted to a factory that will let us sample switch batches before a run, which narrowed the options considerably.

We are not backed by a distributor or an esports organisation, and we do not sponsor teams. Whatever the products are worth, they are worth it without a logo on a jersey.

Privacy

This site has no accounts, no cookies, no analytics and no advertising or social scripts. The sensitivity converter runs entirely in your browser and nothing entered into it is transmitted or stored anywhere.

Email sent to us is kept only as long as it takes to answer, and is never used for marketing. There is no mailing list to join.

Terms

Specifications are published in good faith and may change between production revisions; the label on the box of the unit you are buying takes precedence over this page.

Nothing on this site is an offer of sale. Sales are made in person at the shops listed above, under Brazilian consumer law.
